Questions parents ask about play centres & soft play
What ages is soft play for in Dubai?
Each play centre sets its own ages: many welcome babies and toddlers, and some take children up to their teens. Every listing on this page shows the ages the centre publishes, so check the age range and any height limit before you go.
Do I need to book soft play, or can we walk in?
It depends on the centre. Prices are published per visit, by the hour or per session, and some centres sell timed slots. Check the centre’s website or call ahead before you go, especially at weekends and in the school holidays.
Do children need socks at soft play?
Pack socks for your child, and for any adult who will go in with them. Each centre sets its own rules and some ask for grip socks, so check before you go.
What safety rules should I check at a soft play centre?
Ask whether an adult has to stay with your child, and from what age children can play on their own. Check whether there is a separate area for babies and toddlers, how many children go in at a time and where to find staff if your child needs help.
