About Petit Paradis
Petit Paradis is an indoor kids playground inside City Walk, facing McDonald's, with a café for parents and a boutique under the same roof. The play area is split into zones: a multi-level soft play frame with a giant ball pit, spiral slides, tunnels, climbing frames, balance bridges and a mini trampoline; a toddler area for children up to 2, with cushioned flooring, sensory panels, gentle slides and baby swings; and a role-play village with a café, a pâtisserie and a doctor's office. A 2-hour session is AED 130 for children over 1 and AED 90 for babies under 1, and a monthly membership gives unlimited entry. It is a play centre, not a nursery: trained attendants staff the play area, but every child must come with a parent or guardian, and socks are a must. The café serves coffee, salads, sandwiches and kid-friendly meals, with high chairs. Petit Paradis also hosts birthday parties with a private playroom and a party host, and takes school trips and group bookings.
The activity
Play Centres & Soft Play, explained
Soft play is indoor play on padded equipment: climbing frames, tunnels, slides, ball pits and balance bridges built from foam and netting, so tumbles land softly. Children set their own pace, climbing, crawling, sliding and chasing, which builds strength, balance and coordination, and playing alongside other children helps with turn-taking and confidence. Many centres add a separate toddler zone with low structures and sensory panels for babies and early walkers, and a role-play corner where children act out everyday scenes such as running a café or visiting the doctor. There is no lesson or coach: you pay for a timed play session, and a parent usually stays on site.
Who it's for
Babies, toddlers and young children, always with a parent or guardian. Tickets are split into babies under 1 (Mini Play) and children over 1 (Adventurers). The toddler area is designed for children up to 2, the soft play zone is described as suiting all ages, and the venue says its spaces are built around early childhood. No upper age limit is published, so ask the provider before bringing older children. Parents get a café and a parent lounge within reach of the play area.
What to expect
Pack socks for every child, as they are mandatory in the play areas, and plan to stay: a parent or guardian must accompany each child. A session lasts 2 hours and includes access to all zones, so a toddler can move from the cushioned toddler area to the ball pit and spiral slides, then on to the role-play café, pâtisserie and doctor's office. Trained attendants are on the floor for help and safety. Parents can sit in the café or parent lounge with a coffee or a bite while the children play nearby. Whether adults pay, sibling prices and what happens after 2 hours are not published: ask the provider.
