The activity

Play Centres & Soft Play, explained

Piccoli is an indoor play centre for babies and young children, from 6 months to 8 years. It is pay-and-play rather than a class: you book a 2 or 3-hour session and your child moves freely between the zones while you stay with them. The venue describes a soft play area with a ball pit, sensory activities, a pretend play zone and an arts and crafts studio. For an extra fee, children can add a hands-on activity such as slime, pottery, painting, soap making or bracelet making. Play like this builds balance, coordination and confidence, and gives little ones room to burn off energy indoors.

Who it's for

Children aged 6 months to 8 years. Prices are split into two age groups: Little Wonders (6 to 18 months) and Curious Explorers (19 months to 8 years). An adult must supervise at all times, except in Drop & Shop, which is supervised play for children aged 4 and above. Google lists a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance. Support for children with additional needs is not published, so ask the provider.

What to expect

Book online on the Avenue Mall play page, or message the branch on WhatsApp (+971 50 956 9700). Bring socks for everyone: they are required, and grip socks cost AED 10. Your session time starts as soon as you go in, and two adults per household are included (each extra adult is AED 25). Children play freely across the soft play, ball pit, pretend play and sensory areas, and you can add a Creative Studio activity for AED 55 or face painting for AED 25. Outside food and drinks are not allowed. It is pay-per-visit, and no free trial is mentioned on the site.
