Savy Dolphins Swimming Academy: swimming lessons in Al Quoz
About Savy Dolphins Swimming Academy
Savy Dolphins Swimming Academy is a swimming academy in Al Quoz, listed on Google as a swimming facility at 48 B Street, Al Qouz First. It is rated 4.3 on Google from 6 reviews. A photo on its Google listing shows an instructor in the water coaching a young swimmer in a branded swim cap, so children's lessons are part of what it does. Beyond that, very little is published: the academy has no working website at the moment, so its programmes, age groups, class times, pool location and fees are not online. If you live nearby in Al Quoz, Al Safa or along Sheikh Zayed Road and want lessons for your child, the simplest step is to call or WhatsApp the academy on +971 58 693 9664. Ask which pool it teaches in, which age groups and levels it takes, whether lessons are group or one-to-one, and what a block of lessons costs.
The activity
Swimming, explained
Swimming lessons teach children to be safe and confident in water, then build real strokes. Beginners start with getting their face wet, blowing bubbles, floating and kicking with support, then move on to gliding, breathing to the side and swimming short distances unaided. Older or more confident children work on front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and eventually butterfly, plus treading water and safe entries. Lessons run in small groups or one-to-one, with an instructor in the water or on the side. Swimming builds stamina, coordination and water safety, which matters in a city of pools and beaches. Many children start formal lessons around three or four; ask the academy what ages it teaches.
Who it's for

What to expect
The academy does not publish what a first lesson looks like, so ask the provider before you book. Useful questions to send: which pool the lessons are in (Google lists 48 B Street, Al Qouz First), whether lessons are in small groups or one-to-one, how long each session lasts, which age groups and levels it teaches, whether a trial or assessment lesson is offered, and what your child should bring. The Google listing photo shows the instructor in the water beside the swimmer. Fees, class times and a kit list are not published, so get them in writing on WhatsApp before the first lesson.
