OZZ Football Academy coaches young players at Town Square Nshama, and its motto is "From Passion to Performance". The programme is split into clear pathways: OZZ Minis, a safe, playful start for 3-4 year olds; OZZ Academy, a structured, step-by-step pathway for players aged 5-12; and OZZ Girls, a pathway for girls to learn the game and build confidence together. On top of that, OZZ Elites is a free programme by selection only, where talented players train professionally and can get trial training sessions with professional football clubs. The academy was founded by former professional Turkish footballers, and sessions are designed and delivered by UEFA-licensed coaches and sports science graduates. Alongside technique, the club talks about building discipline, resilience and respectful character. New players can book a free trial through the form on the academy's website, and OZZ is rated 5.0 on Google from 9 reviews.

The activity

Football, explained

Football coaching gives kids a structured way to build ball control, passing, movement and teamwork while running around with friends. Sessions usually mix drills (dribbling, first touch, shooting) with small-sided games, so children learn technique without losing the fun of playing a match. The youngest groups tend to be short, playful sessions that build coordination and confidence with the ball, while older children move on to more structured technical and tactical training. Along the way, football builds fitness, resilience, listening skills and friendships, and many children go on to enjoy match days and tournaments as they grow.

Who it's for

Children from age 3: OZZ Minis is for ages 3-4 and OZZ Academy for players aged 5-12. OZZ Girls is a dedicated pathway for girls (ages not stated - ask the provider). OZZ Elites is by selection only, for talented players ready for the next level.

What to expect

Start with the free trial: the academy's website has a "Book your free trial" form asking for the player's name and date of birth and a parent's contact details, or you can message the academy on WhatsApp. For the youngest (OZZ Minis, ages 3-4) the club describes a safe, playful first step into football; for ages 5-12 OZZ Academy focuses on step-by-step learning. Google notes that an appointment is needed before visiting. The website doesn't list session times, kit or what to bring, so ask the provider when you book the trial.
