The activity

Martial Arts, explained

Martial arts classes for children build discipline, coordination, fitness and confidence through structured drills, pad work, partner practice and, as they progress, controlled sparring. Kickboxing and Muay Thai are striking arts built on technique, footwork and conditioning; Muay Thai adds knees, elbows and clinch work. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling art based on leverage and control rather than strength, so smaller children can hold their own. Many clubs grade progress with belts or levels, which gives children clear goals. It suits a child who enjoys energetic, structured sessions. Ask the academy which classes are for children and from what age.

Who it's for

The academy runs separate kids, juniors, teens and adults classes, plus personal training (PT) sessions, and welcomes newcomers as well as returning students. Its Instagram shows both girls and boys training and competing. Age bands for each class aren't given - ask the academy which group suits your child. Its summer 2026 camp was for ages 5 to 13.

What to expect

Classes are grouped by age (kids, juniors, teens and adults), so ask which group suits your child's age and experience before the first session. Videos of the academy's classes on its Instagram show children practising kicks and pad work with a coach. The academy says it helps people whether their goal is to be competition ready or simply in better physical and mental shape, and it welcomes students joining for the first time. Ask about trial classes, kit and fees on WhatsApp (+971 58 657 5892) before you go, and check the current class times: the academy started its new season with a fresh schedule in August 2026.
