Kids Kickboxing is more technical - proper combinations, sparring fundamentals and grading for belts, with competition opportunities - and Youth Kickboxing adds advanced technique, sparring and competition for teenagers. There are also Adults (16+) and Ladies Only (14+) classes, so an older sister or a parent can train too. The activity

Martial Arts, explained

Kickboxing for kids combines striking technique - punches, kicks, combinations and pad work - with fitness, coordination and discipline. Many clubs use a belt-grading system, which gives children visible milestones to work towards and keeps them motivated from one term to the next. Classes are usually split by age, because a 3-year-old and an 11-year-old need very different pacing: the youngest groups are playful and focus on balance, listening and coordination, while older children learn proper technique and, later, controlled sparring. It suits energetic kids who like structure and enjoy working towards the next grade.

Who it's for

Children from 3 to 15 in four age bands: Pre School Kickboxing (3-4), Little Ninjas (5-6), Kids Kickboxing (7-11) and Youth Kickboxing (12-15). The gym describes itself as welcoming to all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds. Teenage girls aged 14+ can also join the separate Ladies Only class, and adults 16+ have their own class.

What to expect

All equipment is provided for founding members, so children don't need to buy gear before starting. The pre-school class is pitched as a fun, safe session with qualified coaches, focusing on coordination, balance and listening; from Little Ninjas upwards children follow a belt grading system that tracks their progress. Class times, fees and whether a trial class is offered are not published on the site - ask the provider on WhatsApp (+971 58 549 9212) before committing to a membership.
