Black Palace Beach (Al Sufouh Beach)

Days OutBeaches

Black Palace Beach is a free public beach in Al Sufouh, reached by a sandy track off Al Sufouh Road between the royal palaces and Palm Jumeirah, with Burj Al Arab on one side and the Palm's hotels on the other. It is a wide, quiet strip of sand with shallow water and nothing built on it: no toilets, no showers, no shops or cafes, no shade and no published lifeguard service, and parking is on the sand or the verge by the track. Come with water, snacks, a shade tent and a toilet plan, swim with children only in calm conditions and never when the red flag is flying elsewhere on the coast, and arrive before 10am or at sunset at weekends when the parking fills. Entry is free and there are no gates or hours; the nearest playground and toilets are at Al Sufouh Park.
