About Splash 'n' Party Kids Waterpark

Splash 'n' Party is an outdoor water park made for children, with three parks: Al Safa 2 in Jumeirah, Al Warqa and Dubai Hills. Kids spend the day on splash pads, water slides, climbing frames and the Giant Bucket, which fills up and tips over the crowd. The site also lists a zipline for bigger kids, a foam party, mascots and live entertainment shows, and describes its pools as temperature-controlled to 30°C. Parents sit at the outdoor tables or the restaurant and juice bar while they keep an eye on the water. A walk-in ticket covers the whole day with no booking needed, and children aged 1 to 15 pay entry. Babies under 1 go free, and Mondays are a cheaper 'Crazy Monday' day. Birthday parties are a big part of what it does: themed packages such as Under the Sea, Mermaid, Superhero, Beach and Jungle come with a host, a kids' meal, the zipline and a show, so ask which park can host your date. It also hosts school trips and camps. Pick a branch on this page for its address, hours and tickets.

The activity

Water Parks, explained

A kids' water park is a splash park built for small children rather than thrill-seekers. Instead of deep pools and tall drop slides, little ones run through fountains and sprays on a splash pad, climb water play frames, whizz down small slides and wait for a giant bucket to tip over their heads. Most of the play is in shallow water, so toddlers and young children can play on their own feet while a parent stays close; this park also has a deeper adult pool, which non-swimmers should stay out of. It builds water confidence, balance and a lot of running about, with older kids heading for the slides and extras such as a zipline.

Who it's for

Families with babies, toddlers and young children; the splash pads and slides are built for little ones. Entry is charged for children aged 1 to 15, and babies under 1 go free with a paying adult (government ID needed to show age). Every child must be with a parent or guardian who stays on site, and the site asks that children are supervised by an adult who can swim. Non-swimmers should keep out of the adult pool. The zipline is for children aged 4 and over who are 105-160 cm tall and weigh 20-60 kg. A Person of Determination and one adult carer get in free. At Al Warqa, every Friday is Ladies Day: ladies, girls and boys under 8 are welcome, and boys over 8 are not.

What to expect

Walk in on the day: general admission needs no booking and covers the whole day, though the site suggests booking online for weekends and public holidays. Once inside, younger children head for the splash pads and kiddy slides while older ones try the bigger slides and the zipline (included in some ticket bundles). Staff run the activities but are not a replacement for a parent, so plan to stay close to the water; there is outdoor seating with tables and chairs for this. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, and the café serves meals, kids' meals, juices and milkshakes. Tickets are non-refundable. Hours, ticket days and parking differ by park, so pick a branch on this page before you go.
