About Sanad Village
Sanad Village is a special needs centre in The Sustainable City that brings school, therapy and life skills together under one roof. Children join one of three full-day programmes by age: Early Intervention (2 to 8), Elementary (9 to 12) and Vocational (13 and above). Speech, occupational, ABA and physiotherapy are built into the school day, alongside workshops in art, music, cooking, swimming and PE. What stands out is the campus: the centre describes a 30,000-square-metre site with a Simulation Mall where students practise in a supermarket, barber shop and mock dental clinic, plus an accessible, temperature-controlled pool, a sensory gym and a student-run cafeteria. Families who are not enrolled can use the therapy clinic, book an assessment, join the inclusive after-school club or come to the winter and summer camps. Admission starts with a free tour or a paid consultation and screening, and fees are set for each child after that. Door-to-door transport is offered within the centre's service areas.
The activity
Special Needs Centres, explained
A special needs centre supports children who learn and develop differently, for example autistic children or those with ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy or speech delays. Instead of one weekly class, a full-day programme blends teaching with therapy: speech and language work, occupational therapy for fine motor and sensory skills, physiotherapy for strength and movement, and applied behaviour analysis (ABA), which breaks skills into small steps and rewards progress. Children also practise everyday life skills such as dressing, eating, shopping and taking turns. Parents usually start with an assessment so the team can set goals. Many centres begin with toddlers; here, day programmes start at age 2.
Who it's for
Children, teens and young adults with developmental, learning or medical needs, from age 2 upwards. The admissions page lists autism (ASD), ADHD, global developmental delay, learning disabilities such as dyslexia, speech and language disorders, sensory processing disorders, intellectual disability, behavioural disorders, cerebral palsy and genetic conditions such as Down syndrome, Fragile X and Williams syndrome; epilepsy, diabetes and asthma are reviewed by the centre's GP. Day programmes: Early Intervention (2-8 years), Elementary (9-12 years), Vocational (13 years and above). UAE residents only, with a valid Emirates ID. The after-school club is open to Sanad students and the wider community.
What to expect
Start by calling or WhatsApping the admissions team, or filling in the enquiry form. Next you choose a free on-site tour or a 60-minute consultation and screening with a specialist (AED 500 on the admissions page). After the consultation you get either an acceptance letter for a day programme or therapy recommendations for the clinic, with a fee plan for your child. Early Intervention includes a 6-8 week assessment and asks parents to be actively involved. Parents get daily updates through a therapist-parent portal, and can join observation sessions and coffee mornings. Uniform and transport are arranged once a start date is confirmed. There is no free trial class listed; ask the provider.

Why parents rate it
What parents say on Google
Parents quoted on the centre's testimonials page mention the ABA programme and the camps, a professional, caring team that looks at each child as an individual, and progress in behaviour, communication and interaction. Reading those and booking the free tour is a good way to judge it for yourself.
