About Learn At Educatia
Learn At Educatia is a KHDA-regulated training institute (permit 629012) for children and adults, with centres in Dubai Silicon Oasis and International City. Most families come for school subjects: grade-level maths and science courses covering topics from arithmetic and algebra to physics, chemistry and biology. Around those sit skills courses for children, including robotics, coding with Scratch, Python and app development, handwriting, live science experiments, MS Office for kids, creative and communication skills, and abacus and Vedic maths. Language courses run at three levels in English, Arabic, French and Hindi, and older students can prepare for exams such as IELTS, SAT, IIT-JEE and NEET. The centre says it builds courses around each learner after assessing their current level. Classes are offered on site and online. In school holidays Educatia runs camps; summer 2026 ran at both branches. It was founded by Meenakshi Somasundaram, an engineer turned teacher who has taught since 2010.
The activity
Tuition Centre, explained
A tuition centre gives children extra teaching outside school hours, usually in small groups or one to one. Most families come for maths, science or English: a child who is falling behind, one heading into big exams, or one who simply wants more stretch. A good tutor starts by finding out where your child is, then fills the gaps and practises past-paper style questions. Many centres now add skills school does not always cover, such as coding, robotics, handwriting or public speaking. It builds confidence, study habits and exam technique. Children usually start from the early primary years, and many carry on right through secondary school.
Who it's for
School-age children and adults. Maths and science courses follow each child's grade level; the 2026 summer camp was for ages 5 to 16 and the STEM camp for ages 7 and up, and the 2026 Math Bee was open to Grades 1 to 10 on any curriculum. The centre lists language and exam courses for teenagers and adults too. Ask the provider about the right starting level for a younger child.
What to expect
The centre says it starts by assessing a learner's current level and then builds a customised course around what they need. Classes can be taken at the centre or online. Maths and science follow the child's grade, with worksheets and practice, while robotics and coding are hands-on. The website does not publish a trial class policy, class sizes for term-time tuition or a full fee list, so ask the provider about a trial, group or one-to-one options and the fee for your child's grade before you enrol.
