The activity

Tuition Centre, explained

A tuition centre gives children extra academic support alongside their regular school - either one-to-one, in small groups, or through structured coaching for a particular curriculum. Kids typically work through the same subjects they study at school (maths, languages, sciences) at a pace matched to their level, with more attention than a full classroom allows. Some centres also help with exam boards, orientation and university applications for older students. It suits children who want to keep up, catch up, or aim for a specific grade, usually from primary age through to the final years of secondary school.

Who it's for

Pupils on the French curriculum from primary (CP) to the final year of lycée (Terminale), in maths, French, English and, for group classes, physics-chemistry and homework help. Brevet and Bac preparation for older pupils. Girls and boys; special-needs support is not described on the site - ask the provider.

What to expect

Start by talking to an advisor: Activstudy offers a free personalised assessment and a free first trial lesson with no commitment.
