Dubai Islands Beach

Dubai Islands Beach is a public beach on Dubai Islands off Deira, between the Centara Mirage and Riu hotels on Dubai's northern shore, and it is the first family beach in Dubai where dogs are allowed to swim, which is a plus for some families and worth knowing for others. There is a landscaped promenade, beach volleyball and football, kayaking and paddleboarding, and basic toilets, changing rooms and showers, with cafes and restaurants added along the front since it opened in 2023. Nakheel opened it 'from sunrise to sunset' and has not published lifeguard hours, so treat it as a daytime beach, watch children closely and stay out of the sea when the red flag is up. No entry fee is published; it is Nakheel's free public beach rather than a paid beach club.
