Al Mamzar Beach (Khor Al Mamzar)

Al Mamzar Beach is a free public beach on the Khor Al Mamzar lagoon in Al Mamzar, Deira, reopened by Dubai Municipality on 5 May 2026 as the first phase of its Al Mamzar Beaches project. The 3.6 km swimming shoreline is kept for swimming away from water sports, and along it are shaded Kids play areas, more than 5.5 km of walking, running and cycling track, an outdoor gym, beach volleyball and padel courts, kayaking, the region's first floating walkway, 20 public facilities and 19 food and drink outlets. There are 12 lifeguard towers and 12 emergency call points, with lifeguards posted from sunrise to sunset and a 300 m night beach that is lit and open 24/7. The beach is open around the clock with free entry; it sits beside, not inside, the fenced Al Mamzar Beach Park, which charges AED 5 per person. Swimmers come out whenever the red flag is up.
