Jumeirah 1 Beach

Jumeirah 1 Beach is a free public beach on Jumeirah Beach Road in Jumeirah 1, next to the Etihad Museum flagpole and J1 Beach, that Dubai Municipality describes as one of its quietest, used mainly by families who live nearby. The whole beach is for swimming only, with no water sports, and it reopened in February 2026 after a 1.4 km revamp that added 50% more sand, children's play zones, walking, jogging and cycling tracks, shaded seating, beachfront cafes and kiosks, public Wi-Fi and better access for prams and wheelchairs. Lifeguards are on duty from sunrise to sunset; it is not a night-swimming beach, and the red flag means everyone out of the water. Entry is free and the beach is open around the clock.
