About Aventura Parks

Aventura Parks is an outdoor adventure park inside Mushrif Park, set in a Ghaf tree forest. Its zipline park has 24 ziplines and 80 obstacles across five circuits, from the beginner Rangers circuit to the Extreme circuit, and uses the Clic-It self-belay system. Little ones under 1.25m have their own Discovery Play Area with a treehouse, climbing structures, a mini climbing wall, a water fountain and an animal area. The camps page (updated February 2026) lists Nature and Survival Camps in the school holidays: Forest Lab for ages 5 to 7 and Forest Rangers for ages 8 to 12, mixing nature walks, science, crafts, survival skills and daily zipline time. Dates for the next camps are not published yet, so ask the camps team. The park also hosts birthday parties, school field trips and educational workshops, and offers support for autistic and sensory-sensitive visitors, including a sensory map. After its summer break, the park opens for the new season on 16 October 2026, Friday to Sunday and on public holidays.

The activity

Holiday Camps, explained

A nature and adventure camp keeps children outdoors for the whole school-holiday day. Instead of a single sport, kids rotate through hands-on sessions: nature walks, simple science experiments, crafts with natural materials, team games and, at an adventure park, time on ropes courses and ziplines in a harness. Older campers often learn basic outdoor skills such as building a shelter or first aid. It builds confidence, independence, teamwork and a feel for the natural world, with plenty of screen-free time. Most camps like this start taking children at around five, with separate groups for younger and older kids.

Who it's for

Children and families. Harnessed circuits go by height: Rangers from 1.15m, Explorador from 1.25m, Aventura and Thriller from 1.4m, Extreme from 1.6m and age 16. Children 1.05m or taller can do MiniKids on their own; the Discovery Play Area is for children up to 1.25m, and children under 1.15m must be accompanied by an adult. The camps page lists Forest Lab for ages 5 to 7 and Forest Rangers for ages 8 to 12. The park describes itself as a Certified Autism Center with a sensory map and can arrange support with advance notice.

What to expect

On a zipline visit, climbers get a safety briefing and a harness; the basic package gives up to three hours in harness, a single circuit up to 1.5 hours. The park provides all the equipment, and its coaches hold first aid qualifications. Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes with good grip, and tie long hair back. At camp (camps page, February 2026), Forest Lab runs 9am to 3pm and Forest Rangers 9am to 5pm; campers get two snacks and unlimited water, with lunch as an optional extra. Send a hat, sunscreen and a reusable water bottle.
