About Play Create Eat
Play Create Eat is a 15,000 sq ft (1,300 sqm) family play centre at Cityland Mall in Wadi Al Safa, beside Global Village. It is split into zones: a Play Zone with a play structure with 6 slides, digital trampolines and challenge games; a Create Zone for arts and crafts, slime, painting, clay and face painting; a Disco Zone for dancing, karaoke and mini-theatre; a Baking Zone for baking and cooking workshops; a party area with more than 50 birthday themes; and its own restaurant, where food and desserts are made in-house. The main ticket is one price for the whole day, with play, crafts, face painting, disco, karaoke and the entertainment programme all included, and re-entry on the same day. Baking and cooking workshops are not part of the ticket. Children up to 100 cm have a cheaper toddler ticket, accompanying adults go in free, and tickets are booked in the Play Create Eat app. Parents can play alongside their children or sit in the restaurant. The centre also hosts birthday parties and school and nursery trips.
The activity
Indoor Play, explained
An indoor play and creative centre mixes free play with short, staff-led activities under one roof. Children climb, slide and bounce on a big soft-play structure, then move to a craft table for painting, clay or slime, join a disco or karaoke session, or put on a little show. Some centres add baking workshops where kids make simple treats. It builds gross motor skills, confidence and imagination, and gives shy children an easy way to join in with others. There is no fixed starting age: toddlers play alongside a parent, and older children get more freedom to choose their own activities while an adult stays responsible for them.
Who it's for
Children, with play and crafts for toddlers through to school age. Under-8s must be checked in by a parent, guardian or authorised caregiver; 8 to 12-year-olds can be checked in by an authorised adult with consent given in the app or to staff; children aged 12 and over can self-check-in once a guardian authorises it in the app. The terms say children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Toddler tickets are for children up to 100 cm, who must be with a parent. Adults with a child go in free. School trip packages are described as tailored for EYFS to primary stages. The Google listing notes wheelchair-accessible entrance, toilet and car park.
What to expect
Tickets are booked in the Play Create Eat app, and entry to the play areas needs a registered family account in the app; the website shows the price list. The all-day ticket has no time limit within opening hours, and you can leave and come back the same day with the wristband and a parent's ID. Inside, children move between the play structure, trampolines, craft tables, face painting and the disco and karaoke area, and staff run an entertainment programme. Socks must be worn in the play areas. Baking and cooking workshops cost extra, and there is a one-hour ticket for a short visit. Parents can join in or sit in the restaurant nearby.
