The activity

Arabic, explained

Arabic lessons for children build reading, writing, speaking and listening in the language, whether the child is a native speaker keeping up their Arabic or a non-native speaker starting from scratch. Lessons usually cover the alphabet and phonics first, then grammar, conversation and comprehension, often alongside Quranic Arabic for families who want that included. Children of any school age can start, and programmes are commonly built around a school's curriculum (British, American, IB or the UAE Ministry of Education syllabus) to support what's being taught in class.

Who it's for

Students in UAE schools from Grade 1 to Grade 10, both native and non-native Arabic speakers, on MOE, British, American, IB or CBSE curricula. Female teachers are available for girls.

What to expect

It starts with a free trial lesson: a personalised assessment and a live interactive lesson with an experienced teacher, followed by feedback for parents, with no long-term commitment. Regular classes are live online, never pre-recorded, and each lasts 60 minutes, one-to-one or in a small group of 3 to 5 students. You pick a plan of 1 to 4 classes a week, and an invoice is generated every 4 weeks. To cancel or reschedule, tell the teacher and admin team at least 4 hours ahead; missed classes must be made up in the same month.
