About Unico Dance Center
Unico Dance Center is a women-owned dance studio on the 2nd floor of Al Habtoor Residence Tower on Dubai Marina Walk. Its online booking page describes it as offering female and kids dance classes for beginners. For children, the Dubai Marina timetable lists Kids K-pop for ages 6+ on Monday and Thursday at 17:00, and Kids K-pop for ages 10+ on Thursday at 18:00. A single K-pop class is listed at AED 140, and the K-pop trial class is listed at AED 0, so a first class costs nothing to try. Monthly kids packages start at AED 480 for four classes. The rest of the week is for adults: dance fitness, high heels, TikTok dance, commercial and Afro dance, plus occasional weekend workshops in Abu Dhabi. There is no standalone website; everything is booked through the studio's SimplyBook page, which is where to check today's slots. On Google it has 5 reviews so far, all five stars.
The activity
Dance, explained
Dance classes build coordination, rhythm, balance and confidence through structured movement, starting with basic steps and building up to short routines and full choreography. Children's classes usually mix a warm-up, technique drills and a routine set to music. K-pop classes teach the choreography of Korean pop songs, so they suit children who love music videos and learning a routine they can show off at home. Studios often split children by age so the pace fits the group. Check the age band for each class, as adult and children's sessions often share the same studio.
Who it's for
Children who want to learn K-pop routines: the booking page lists one class for ages 6+ and one for ages 10+, both at the Dubai Marina Walk studio. The other classes on the timetable are adult sessions, so mums can book dance fitness, high heels or Afro dance at the same studio.
What to expect
Classes are booked online through the studio's SimplyBook page, where you pick a trial, a single class or a package for the right age group, and payment is listed as pay later. Each kids K-pop class is listed as 60 minutes. The booking page does not say what to wear, so ask the provider when you book. The studio is on the 2nd floor of Al Habtoor Residence Tower on Dubai Marina Walk; Google's listing gives a different tower and floor, so follow the booking page's address and allow a few minutes to find the studio on your first visit.
