#thekidSpace is an after-school activities club with two branches: Galleria Mall, Golden Mile 8 on Palm Jumeirah, and Creek Rise Tower 1 in Dubai Creek Harbour. Coding, explained

Coding and robotics classes teach children to give a computer or a robot step-by-step instructions and watch what happens. Younger children usually start with block-based coding, LEGO-style building and screen-free programming, then move on to tools like Scratch, Minecraft Education and Roblox, and later to typed languages such as Python, 3D printing and Arduino electronics. Along the way they practise logical thinking, breaking a big problem into small steps, spotting and fixing mistakes, and working with others. At #thekidSpace, Robotics Junior starts at 4-5, Coding Beginner is for 6-9 and Python is for 13+.

Children from 4-5 upwards. Both timetables group classes by age: Art Junior, Robotics Junior and Clay Modelling for 4-5, Painting & Drawing and Robotics in bands between 5 and 12, Coding from 6-9 up to 9-12, Computer Science & AI from 6-8 to 11+, and Python for teens.
