Spartans Boxing Club has five gyms in Dubai: Production City, Dubai South, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Town Square and Arjan. Alongside its adult boxing and fitness classes, every branch page lists Spartans Kids, a boxing class for children aged 4 to 11. Children work on movements for body awareness plus basic boxing technique, and there is no contact in the class. There are basic and intermediate kids' levels, so a child who has done some boxing already is not stuck in a beginners' group. At Production City, the branch coach is Allid Mutebi, a professional boxer, and the gym manager is Ringo. New families can ask for a free trial class through the form on the branch page, and the team gets in touch to schedule it. Kids' class times and prices are not published on the branch pages, so ask the branch you pick.

The activity

Boxing, explained

Kids' boxing is not about fighting. Children learn footwork, balance and basic punching technique through drills, pad work and movement games, with a coach correcting form as they go. It builds coordination, fitness, focus and confidence, and gives energetic kids a structured way to let off steam. Classes for young children are usually non-contact, so there is no sparring; technique simply gets more detailed as children move up a level. Many clubs take children from around four or five, and a free trial is a common first step before signing up.

Who it's for

Children aged 4 to 11 in basic and intermediate kids' classes with no contact, per the club's branch pages. Nothing is published about separate boys' and girls' groups or support for additional needs: ask the branch you pick.

What to expect

Kids' class times, what to wear and whether gloves are provided are not published, so ask the branch on WhatsApp or by email.
