About Prime Talent Sports Academy (PTSA)
Prime Talent Sports Academy (PTSA), which also calls itself Prime Talent Football Academy, is a children's football academy based at The Sustainable City on Al Qudra Road, Dubai. Its website says it coaches children from 3 to 18, is approved by the UAE Football Association and has UEFA-licensed coaches. The youngest players start in U5's Mini-Kickers, for ages 3 to 5, which teaches passing, dribbling and shooting through fun games and teamwork. Older players move into the U8's-U18's Academy, competitive teams that play in Division 1 leagues and showcase matches against UAE clubs, and there is also a Girls Academy and 1-on-1 training. Term 1 of the 2026/27 season began on 1 September 2026, and the Equiti Youth Football League has welcomed the academy for its 2026-27 season. Florent Malouda, the former Chelsea and France international, is its brand ambassador. Fees and session times are not published, so call or WhatsApp +971 56 774 3009, or ask for the free one-session trial on the registration form.
The activity
Football, explained
Football training builds ball control, passing, movement and teamwork through drills and small-sided games. A typical session runs on a pitch or turf area, with a coach running a warm-up, technical drills and a match at the end. Younger children usually start with fun, game-based fundamentals such as dribbling, stopping the ball and simple passing, while older players move on to positions, tactics and more structured, competitive coaching. Beyond the skills, regular football helps children with fitness, coordination, confidence and learning to play as part of a team. Starting ages and group sizes vary from academy to academy, so ask the provider what fits your child.
Who it's for
Children and teenagers from 3 to 18 (the academy's website and Instagram bio). U5's Mini-Kickers is for ages 3 to 5. The U8's-U18's Academy is for players who want competitive team football, with league and showcase matches; the Girls Academy offers girls the same training and competition; 1-on-1 training is personal coaching. Older players also get USA university scholarship showcases and trials with professional clubs. Ask which groups train at The Sustainable City in Dubai, and where a 6 or 7 year old fits.
What to expect
Mini-Kickers sessions for 3 to 5 year olds teach the basics of passing, dribbling and shooting through fun games and teamwork. Older players train in teams and play league and showcase matches. To start, fill in the registration form on prime-talent.ae and choose either full registration or a free trial of one session; the form asks for a guardian's details and any allergies or medical conditions. Before regular training, players complete a health and medical form and pay the fees. The academy's terms say players wear the official Prime Talent uniform at every session, with proper football boots and shin guards. Ask about session length, group sizes and the cost of the kit.
