The activity

Music Lessons, explained

Popular music lessons focus on the instruments and songs kids actually want to play - guitar, drums, piano, vocals - rather than classical grade exams, often building towards playing in a band or performing live. Sessions are usually one-to-one or small group, working on technique alongside songs a child already knows, with regular chances to perform helping build confidence early on. It suits complete beginners as well as kids who already play and want to develop further, and many schools run band programmes where students from different instrument lessons play together.

Who it's for

Described as open to "aspiring musicians of all ages"; specific age bands per instrument aren't published.
