Real Madrid Foundation EFP Dubai is the Real Madrid Foundation's Educational Football Program, run in partnership with ISD Dubai Sports City. It took over the former LaLiga Academy Dubai from the 2025-26 season. ISD's football pitches in Sports Village are the programme's home base, with sessions Monday to Friday from 4PM to 8PM and an internal league every Saturday that brings together children from all RMF sites. Term registrations are open to girls and boys aged 3 to 17. There are Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced programmes, plus a Girls Program with all-girls groups for ages 4 to 17. Coaches are UEFA-certified, trained in the Foundation's methodology, and include former players of various levels. The academy says it keeps a small participant-to-coach ratio and trains on FIFA turf with natural cork infill. New families can book a free trial session, which the academy values at AED 120, with no commitment. Term fees are not published on the website, so ask the academy. On Google, the Sports City branch is rated 4.2 from 211 reviews.

The activity

Football, explained

Football coaching for children built on the Real Madrid Foundation methodology, which the academy describes as a blend of game-based learning, challenge, psychological growth, game understanding, physical development and values. Children learn through play and real-game situations rather than standing in lines, working on ball control, passing and movement first, then technical and tactical skills as they progress. Sessions also lean on seven core values: respect, motivation, healthy habits, equality, autonomy, self-esteem and fellowship. The academy takes girls and boys from age 3, with under-4s training for 45 minutes and older groups for 60 to 90 minutes.

Who it's for

Girls and boys aged 3 to 17, from complete beginners (Beginner program) to more experienced players (Intermediate and Advanced programs). The Girls Program runs all-girls groups for ages 4 to 17 - ask which sessions at Sports City are all-girls.

What to expect

Start with the free trial session (valued at AED 120 by the academy, no commitment required), booked through the form on the website where you choose ISD Dubai Sports City as the location. Under-4s train for 45 minutes and older groups for 60 to 90 minutes, depending on their category and programme. Beginner sessions focus on ball control, passing and movement through structured games; Intermediate and Advanced players train three times a week plus weekend challenges. Kit and what to bring are not listed on the site - ask the academy when you book.
