Leem Lake Park is a lakeside public park in the heart of Hatta, a three-hectare artificial lake ringed by the mountains that Dubai Municipality lists among its lake parks. Kids have a children's playground, families get dedicated BBQ spots and a footbridge over the water, and the sunsets over the lake are the reason most people come. Entry is free (Gulf News, Oct 2024) and the park hosts the Hatta Festival each December. It opens 8am to 11pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to midnight Friday, Saturday and public holidays.
