Love Lake Dubai

Love Lake Dubai is a pair of heart-shaped man-made lakes in open desert at Saih Al Salam, about ten minutes past the last Al Qudra lake off the Umm Suqeim to Al Ain road, inside the free Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, and it is a picnic and sunset spot rather than a park with a playground. Families find walking trails around the hearts, shaded seating, fire pits and washrooms on site, but no shops, cafes or play equipment, so bring water, food and shade. Access is free and the reserve is open all year; the last stretch is a sand track, so drive carefully and avoid midday in summer. Birdwatching and the Al Qudra cycle track are next door.
