JM Swim Tech At Home Swim Instruction
About JM Swim Tech
JM Swim Tech is an at-home swim instruction service listed on Google in the Jumeirah Beach Residence / Dubai Marina area. Instead of joining a class at a swim school, you book private lessons and the coach comes to a pool that suits you. Children are part of the offer: the main Google listing photo reads "Kids Adults Ladies", and the WhatsApp catalogue opens with "Whether you're looking to feel safe when your kids are in the water, or looking to perfect your stroke, you've come to the right place." Posts on its Facebook page from July and August 2024 advertised private lessons for kids and teens, and for toddlers, so ask which ages are taught now. There is no separate website: bookings go through WhatsApp, where the business account is named "Coach AMR". The listing holds 5.0 on Google from 45 reviews. Ask on WhatsApp about prices, lesson length, the areas the coach travels to and whether your building's pool works for sessions.
The activity
Swimming, explained
Learn-to-swim lessons build water confidence, breathing, floating and basic strokes before moving on to proper technique and endurance. Private or at-home instruction usually means one-to-one or small-group sessions in a home, building or community pool, booked at times that suit the family rather than a shared timetable at a swim school. Many swimmers start on water confidence first and then work through the strokes, with the pace set by the swimmer rather than by a fixed group. It suits beginners who feel nervous in a busy pool as well as swimmers who want focused help on one stroke.
Who it's for
Children, adults and women. The main Google listing photo reads "Kids Adults Ladies", and a Facebook post from August 2024 describes the private lessons as "for kids adults and women". Other 2024 posts advertised lessons for kids and teens, and for toddlers. Ask the provider which ages and levels are taught now.
What to expect
Lessons are private and take place at a pool that suits you, such as your home or building pool, rather than at a swim school. In Facebook posts from July and August 2024, JM Swim Tech described lessons taught step by step by a male swimming instructor, shaped around each swimmer's needs and pace, and covering floating, front stroke, backstroke, basic diving, underwater swimming and water safety skills. Ask whether that still describes a first lesson today. Ask the provider on WhatsApp how long a lesson lasts, what a block of lessons costs, what your child should bring and whether a first lesson for children is offered as a trial.
