GoSkate is an indoor roller skating rink and academy with two venues: First Floor near Centrepoint at Dubai Festival City Mall, and First Floor near Baskin Robbins at Marina Mall Abu Dhabi. It coaches children from age 2, with Kids Classes for ages 2-9 and Junior Classes for ages 10-15, plus adult classes and coaches for students with additional needs. Coaches are grouped by age and, the academy says, have 5-10 years of coaching experience. Roller Skating, explained

Roller skating means gliding on wheeled boots, and for children it starts with the simplest thing: standing up and staying balanced. From there a coach adds turning, slowing down and stopping, then backward skating, small jumps and speed once the basics are steady. Along the way children build balance, leg strength, coordination and the confidence that comes from falling safely and getting back up. Helmets, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards are standard, and indoor rinks mean children can skate all year whatever the weather. GoSkate coaches children from age 2, so it is an activity a younger sibling can start early and an older child can keep progressing in for years.
