Are lessons private or group classes?

Every lesson is one-on-one; the academy does not run group classes. Lessons take place at your home pool, or at an EHC pool for an extra AED 25 per person per session.

What age can my child start?

From 6 months. Babies and toddlers up to 3 have 30-45 minute sessions with an early-years coach, and children 3 and above have 60-minute lessons.

How much do lessons cost?

The kids' package is AED 2,300 for 10 one-on-one lessons, valid for two months. The Parent Educator Program is AED 1,650 for five sessions. Packages are non-refundable.

Is there a trial session?

Yes. The trial is AED 100 for 45 minutes at your home pool, and the fee is credited to your package if you continue.

Where do lessons take place?

At your home pool across Dubai, including Dubai Marina, Business Bay, Downtown, Palm Jumeirah and Emirates Hills. Building pools work if residents are permitted. The academy has no fixed venue, so the Dubai Marina and Business Bay entries on this page are areas it serves.

Is a female coach available?

Yes. The academy says it has three certified female coaches and matches coaches by gender preference when you book.

EHC Swim Academy, run by Emad Health Club, teaches swimming one-on-one at your own home pool rather than in group classes at a fixed venue; families without a pool can use an EHC pool for an extra AED 25 per person per session. Swimming, explained

Swimming lessons build water confidence first, then stroke technique: floating and breath control, then front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke as a child progresses. One-to-one lessons let a coach set the pace for a single child, which suits very young beginners or a nervous first-timer. Babies and toddlers usually start with gentle water-familiarisation work alongside a trusted adult, and structured stroke work tends to follow once a child is a little older - confidence in the water matters more than age. Lessons at a family's own pool also suit children who find busy public pools overwhelming.

Who it's for

Babies and toddlers from 6 months to 3 years (baby swim classes, or the Parent Educator Program where a parent is taught to teach their child), and children 3 years and above, from complete beginners with no water experience to stroke technique. Every lesson is one-on-one. Teens and adults are taught too, with professional lifeguard and diving courses for ages 15+.

What to expect

Start with a trial: AED 100 for 45 minutes at your home pool, credited to a package if you continue. The coach assesses your child, agrees a plan and begins the first real session.
