About Dubai Outdoor Kartdrome
Dubai Outdoor Kartdrome is the 1.2km outdoor circuit at the Dubai Autodrome complex in Dubai Motor City, with 17 corners, a tunnel and a bridge, and floodlights for night racing. It is an FIA sanctioned circuit. For families, it is the place teenagers graduate to: Arrive & Drive sessions on the outdoor track are for ages 13 and up, in 15- or 20-minute sessions that start with 3 minutes of paced laps. Teens who get hooked and have done at least 20 outdoor Arrive & Drive sessions can move on to Rookie Race Nights, which run from 8PM to 10PM. The same circuit also hosts the Dubai Bambino Cup, a race championship for children aged 5 to 8 racing Bambino karts, with its own kart and technical rules. Children under 13 who simply want a drive use the Indoor Kartdrome next door, which takes drivers from age 7 and 1.25m tall. Spectators get a viewing terrace, a food and drink outlet and a merchandise shop.
