About Bright Future Training Institute

Bright Future Training Institute is a training centre on Bank Street in Bur Dubai, near BurJuman Metro Station. Its courses range from IELTS preparation and accounting to AutoCAD and hospitality, and it also runs a dedicated kids coding course. Children aged 7 to 10 start with Scratch, a visual block-based platform, while those aged 8 to 14 learn Python using Jupyter Notebook. The course is 30 hours in total, taught at weekends on Saturdays and Sundays, and groups are capped at four students per instructor. Children cover the foundations of programming, including variables, lists, loops and decisions, and work on game projects. They get PDF study notes to practise at home and a certificate of completion at the end. No prior coding experience is needed, only basic familiarity with a mouse and keyboard. There is also an online option for families who prefer to learn from home, and a free demo session can be booked on WhatsApp. Fees are not published.

The activity

Coding, explained

Coding classes teach children to give a computer step-by-step instructions to make something happen: a character that moves, a quiz that keeps score, a simple game. Younger children usually start with Scratch, where they snap together colourful blocks instead of typing, so they can focus on the logic without worrying about spelling. Older children move on to a typed language such as Python and learn about variables, lists, loops and decisions. Along the way coding builds problem-solving, patience and the habit of testing and fixing mistakes. Many children start with block coding at around 7, once they are comfortable with a mouse and keyboard, and move to typed code a few years later.

Who it's for

Children aged 7 to 14. The Scratch track is for ages 7 to 10 and the Python track for ages 8 to 14, and the institute says children as young as seven can begin with Scratch. Complete beginners are welcome: the only requirement is basic computer familiarity, such as using a mouse and keyboard.

What to expect

Start with the free demo session, booked on WhatsApp (+971 54 373 3394). Classes take place at the institute's classroom in Suite 404 of the NBQ Building on Bank Street, Bur Dubai, at weekends, with morning to afternoon sessions; ask the provider for exact times. Groups have no more than four children per instructor. Children receive PDF study materials for practice at home, and progress is assessed through the projects they complete. If your child misses a class, the institute says it arranges make-ups with families. Fees are not published, so ask the provider when you book the demo.
