About Aiitech IT Education

AIITECH IT Education is an IT training institute headquartered in Dubai, with centres in Kerala and Karnataka, India. Its Dubai centre is Office 307, Mozna Tower, Al Qusais 1, near Al Nahda Metro Station, and its Dubai Instagram lists robotics, AI, coding, game development and multimedia for kids and adults. Many of its courses are career programmes for adults, but several are for children. The Junior Robotics Engineering Program is a 6-month, project-based course for learners aged 5-17, covering electronics, sensors, Arduino, Scratch, automation and basic IoT, with robot design challenges. The centre also describes a Junior Robotics & Coding programme for ages 7-9 and an AI Creators programme where children use PictoBlox to build chatbots, image classifiers and voice-controlled projects. For children aiming at competitions, the AIITECH Ignite Program is a 6-month pathway built around FIRST LEGO League-aligned robotics, STEM Racing and Emirates Water Rocket projects. Fees and class times aren't published, so call the centre.

The activity

Robotics, explained

Robotics classes teach children to build small machines and then tell them what to do. Younger learners usually start with block-based coding such as Scratch, snapping commands together to make a motor turn or a light flash. Older children move on to wiring sensors, programming microcontrollers like Arduino and designing robots that react to the world around them. Along the way they practise logical thinking, patience when something doesn't work first time, and teamwork on shared builds. Some centres also prepare teams for competitions, where children design, test and present a robot against a set challenge. AIITECH lists its Dubai junior robotics course for ages 5-17.

Who it's for

Children and teenagers: the Junior Robotics Engineering Program is for learners aged 5-17, and the Junior Robotics & Coding programme is for ages 7-9. No age range is published for the AI Creators programme or the AIITECH Ignite Program, which is aimed at students preparing for robotics and STEM competitions, so ask the provider. The centre also runs career courses for adults.

What to expect

The Junior Robotics Engineering Program runs for 6 months and is project-based: children work hands-on with electronics, sensors and Arduino programming, use Scratch for programming logic, and take on robot design challenges, finishing with an AIITECH certificate. The Junior Robotics & Coding programme for ages 7-9 covers motors, sensors, events and loops through hands-on building and teamwork challenges. Recent posts on the centre's Instagram include a line-follower robot challenge and a junior robotics student presenting an object-detection project. Session length, group size, what to bring and whether a trial class is offered aren't published, so ask the provider before booking.
