The activity

Football, explained

Football training for children builds ball control, passing, movement and teamwork through drills and small-sided games, usually led by a coach with players grouped by age. Younger children tend to start with basic footwork, balance and coordination, while older players move on to tactics, positions and match fitness. In Dubai, sessions are often held on artificial-grass pitches, outdoors or under a covered dome, and many clubs train a few evenings a week. It is a common first step into organised team sport, and some children go on to play friendly matches or leagues against other clubs.
