The activity
Multi-Sports, explained
Multi-sport coaching lets kids try several sports rather than committing to one straight away, which builds all-round fitness, coordination and teamwork and helps them find what they enjoy before specialising. Westford Sports coaches swimming, football, cricket, badminton, tennis, roller skating, basketball, volleyball and athletics. Most sports are taught from beginner to advanced level, and athletics from beginner to competitive. Beginners start with the basic skills, the rules and simple fitness work before moving on to technique, game awareness and match practice. It also runs multi-sport holiday camps in spring, summer and winter. Most of its kids' programmes start from age 4.

Swimming has weekday and weekend batches with small groups; football for 4-7s focuses on dribbling, passing and shooting through fun activities. Roller skaters wear protective gear such as helmets and knee pads, and camps ask for proper sports attire.
