What age can children play?

Do I have to stay with my child?

Yes, if your child is 12 or under: a parent or guardian aged 16 or over must be present at all times. Parents who are not playing can watch for free from the café area.

Can we hold a birthday party there?

Yes. Three packages are listed for ages 4+: EPIC at AED 140, EXTREME at AED 165 and ULTIMATE at AED 280 per person. Weekday parties need at least 5 guests and weekend parties at least 10, up to 40. Outside cakes are allowed, outside catering is not, and bookings are paid in full and non-refundable.

Total Ninja Interactive is an indoor play venue on the first floor of a building on Joud Boulevard East in Motor City, next to Waitrose, where physical games meet video-game screens. It describes itself as mixed-reality entertainment powered by Valo Motion. There are three Valo attractions: Valo Jump, trampolines where cameras track every jump and trick; Valo Climb, a climbing wall that turns into a touch-screen game; and Valo Arena, a multiplayer floor with screens and no goggles or controllers. Alongside them are Dodge Attack, a trampoline dodgeball game with light-up targets; Wipeout, an inflatable balance-and-dodge challenge; and Battle Ball, a multi-sport pitch with electronic scoring. Cameras and sensors follow each player, so jumping on a trampoline, climbing a wall or dodging on a padded floor scores points in a game projected on a screen or the wall itself. Children run, jump, climb, throw and react quickly, often against friends or siblings, without VR headsets or handheld controllers. It builds fitness, balance, coordination and reaction speed, and it can tempt screen-loving children into moving. There is nothing to learn first: games have varying levels, so a first-timer and a confident climber can play side by side. Venues usually set a minimum age or height, typically from about four years old.
