The activity

Art Classes, explained

Art classes give children a structured way to explore drawing, colour and craft step by step - starting with basics like pencil drawing, shapes and shading, then moving into painting with watercolours, poster colours and canvas work. Craft sessions add paper art and seasonal projects. Alongside the finished pictures, regular art practice builds fine motor skills, focus and the confidence to try something new, and no experience is needed to start. At The Legends Institute the kids' art programme is for ages 4-14, and the same centre also teaches music, dance and coding, so a child can try more than one discipline under one roof.

Who it's for

Kids, teens and adults, beginners included - no experience is needed. Published age bands: kids' art 4-14; Kids Dance 4-10, ballet 6+, hip-hop 10+, contemporary 12+; coding, AI and robotics 6-16 (split 6-8, 9-12 and 13-16); holiday camp 4-16. Music is open to kids, teens and adults, with no age bands published - ask the provider which class suits your child.
