About Sportify Academy
Sportify Academy is a sports assessment and training centre on the 7th floor of La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments in Sidra Tower, on Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Sufouh. Its main work is talent identification: packages of physical fitness, movement and ball-skill tests, posture and body scans that end with a consultation on which sports suit your child. For younger children it runs a Motor Skills for Kids class, which starts with a movement assessment and then uses playful drills to build balance, coordination, agility and body control, in a group or one-to-one. There are also sport-specific fitness groups for athletes, personal training and physiotherapy. The academy says it is approved by the Dubai Sports Council, and its founder, Dr Sajad Karami, is introduced as a three-time world karate champion with a PhD in physical education and sport biomechanics. Class packs and assessments are priced and sold on the website. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 66 reviews.

Fitness Classes, explained
Motor skills classes are fitness sessions for children that work on the basic movements every sport is built from: running, jumping, balancing, throwing, catching and changing direction. Instead of learning one sport, kids move through short, playful drills with cones, balls, hoops and balance kit, and the coach adjusts each exercise to the child's stage. The payoff is better coordination, balance, agility, reaction time and body control, which makes it easier to pick up football, swimming or tennis later. Some centres start with a movement test so they can see where a child is strong and where they need help, then track progress over time. Starting ages vary, so check with the centre.
Who it's for
Children and teenagers. The Motor Skills for Kids class is for children who are building basic movement skills, and the site says it suits kids with movement delays or hyperactivity; no age range is published, so ask which group fits your child. The talent identification packages are described as designed for children, and the About page describes the centre as serving teenagers and adolescents. The Sport Specialized Fitness Group is for athletes training for a chosen sport, such as football, basketball or tennis. Adults can book personal training, posture and body composition checks.
What to expect
Before a child joins the Motor Skills class, Sportify assesses their balance, coordination, reflexes and movement patterns with what it calls fun, scientific tests, and coaches then plan age-appropriate drills around the results. Classes run in groups, which the site says encourage teamwork, or as private sessions for children who need more focused support. The talent packages end with a consultation and a written report on your child's strengths, areas to work on and suggested sports. Session length, group size and what to wear are not published, and no free trial is advertised, so ask the provider before your first visit.
