Reem Art Gallery is a small, women-run gallery and art studio on the ground floor of Al Mur Residence on Al Wasl Road. Alongside its exhibitions it runs weekly art classes, and two of them are for young people. The Kids Art Class is for children aged 5 to 11 and is led by Ms. Khushpreet; the gallery pitches it as more than painting, aiming to build creativity, confidence, focus and friendships, with less screen time. For teenagers, the Paint & Sketch Teens class (ages 13 to 18) is taught by artist Jivan Hovhannisian, who works with each student at their own level in pencil, charcoal, acrylic and oil. Painting, explained

Children's art classes mix drawing and painting in a small group, with a teacher showing a technique and then helping each child make their own version. Younger children usually start with pencils, colour pencils, pastels and acrylic paint, learning to look carefully, mix colours and plan a picture. Older children and teens move on to charcoal, portrait drawing and oil painting.
