About Precision Football
Precision Football is a football centre at Ibn Batuta Mall in Jebel Ali Village, Dubai, with pitches, padel courts, a tech centre and a recovery suite. Its Precision Football Academy, set up in 2023, is open to children of all abilities aged 3 to 16, with a dedicated Girls Academy and an Elite Pathway into Development Squads that play in youth leagues across the Emirates. Academy training runs on Mondays and Wednesdays in age groups, from 3:30PM for the youngest to 6-7PM for the oldest, plus a weekly game day. A term costs AED 2,300 for under-6s or AED 2,800 for other ages, excluding a once-a-season registration fee, and includes an Adidas training kit and an hour in the tech centre after each session. The tech centre uses VR, a Smart Pitch that tests shooting accuracy and ICON machines for passing, control and speed. It is rated 4.5 on Google from 100 reviews.
The activity
Football, explained
Football coaching for kids builds ball control, passing, shooting and match awareness through drills and small-sided games, with children grouped by age. Academy programmes usually combine weekly technical sessions with game days, and some offer a pathway into more competitive squads that play in local leagues. Alongside the football itself, children learn teamwork, listening to a coach and handling winning and losing. It suits children who enjoy team sport and want structured coaching rather than a casual kickabout, and many academies welcome complete beginners. The youngest groups often start from around age 3 with short, playful sessions focused on movement and first touches of the ball.
Who it's for
Boys and girls of all abilities aged 3 to 16. This term's boys' academy groups run from U4 (born 2023) to U13/U14; the Girls Academy has U9, U11, U13 and U15 groups; Development Squads run from U6 to U16, with an U18 group. Development Squads and the Elite Pathway are for players progressing towards competitive league football.
What to expect
Academy groups train for 45 minutes (the youngest) to an hour on Mondays and Wednesdays, with a weekly game day. Players must wear the official team outfit, and the registration fee covers training and playing kit for the season. Parents are not allowed at the sessions and are asked not to talk to coaches during training; questions go to the head of the activity afterwards. Registration and consent forms are completed online before the first session. Parents can play padel free at the same time as their child's session if booked in advance. Ask the provider about a trial session.
