About Piccoli Play Area - Al Furjan
Piccoli is an indoor play area brand with four branches: Avenue Mall in Nad Al Sheba, Al Furjan West Pavilion and Al Khawaneej Walk in Dubai, and Distrikt in Al Zahia, Sharjah. The brand opened its first play area at Avenue Mall in May 2022. Piccoli says it is built for children from 6 months to 8 years, with soft play, a ball pit, role-play areas, sensory activities and a creative studio. At Al Furjan there are two age bands, Little Wonders for 6 to 18 months and Curious Explorers for 19 months to 8 years, and you pay for play by time, from AED 70 for two hours for the youngest. Studio activities such as slime, pottery or painting can be added. At Al Furjan, children aged 4 and above can also join Drop & Shop, a supervised option that lets parents step away for up to three hours. Piccoli also hosts birthday parties and school field trips. Play Centres & Soft Play, explained
Piccoli is an indoor play area for babies, toddlers and young children, from 6 months to 8 years. Children play freely in soft play with a ball pit and slides, and in role-play areas made for pretend play. There are sensory activities, and a creative studio where children can add a hands-on activity such as slime, pottery, painting, soap making or bracelet making and take home what they made. Dance and bubbles sessions and organised games run for groups. It is pay-and-play by the session: you pay for two or three hours, and parents stay with their children unless they book the supervised Drop & Shop option for children aged 4 and above.

At Al Furjan, Little Wonders covers 6 to 18 months, Curious Explorers covers 19 months to 8 years, and Drop & Shop, the supervised play option, is for children aged 4 and above. An adult must supervise at all other times. Two adults per household are included in the entry. What to expect
At Al Furjan you choose a two- or three-hour play session for your child's age band, and playtime begins as soon as you go in. Everyone needs socks, and grip socks are on sale for AED 10. Two adults per household are included, and each extra adult pays AED 25. Parents stay and supervise, except during Drop & Shop for children aged 4 and above, which has limited slots and a maximum of three hours per child. Outside food and drinks are not allowed at Al Furjan, where there is a café. You can add a creative studio activity for AED 55 or face painting for AED 25 per child.
