The activity

Football, explained

Kids' football academies teach the game in small, coached groups: warm-ups, ball control, passing and shooting drills, then small-sided matches where children put it all together. Along the way it builds fitness, coordination, confidence and the habit of working as a team, and it gives children a regular, sociable way to burn off energy after school. Many academies in Dubai take children from around four or five, grouping them by age so beginners learn alongside peers of a similar level. Kit is usually simple: boots or trainers, shin pads, a water bottle and comfortable sports clothes. Most academies suggest a first session to see whether a child enjoys it before signing up.

Who it's for

Young footballers joining the Football Academy, and children or teens interested in badminton training in Dubai. The site doesn't publish age groups or levels for either programme, or which venue each group trains at: ask the provider. A Swimming for Kids course is listed but currently marked unavailable.
