The activity

Dance, explained

Dance classes teach children rhythm, coordination, musicality and the confidence to perform. Most classes work through set routines in a style such as hip-hop, contemporary or Indian semi-classical dance, learning a piece of choreography step by step and polishing it over several weeks. Along the way children build fitness, flexibility, memory for sequences and the habit of practising, and many studios give them chances to perform on stage or on video. Beginners can usually start without any experience. Classes are often grouped by age and level, so ask the studio which group fits your child before the first session.

Who it's for

Children and adults. The studio's Instagram shows children in its hip-hop batch and has a KIDS Jr group, alongside a choreography batch and separate ladies' and gents' batches. Age bands and levels are not published, so ask the studio which group fits your child.

What to expect

Classes run in batches at the studio on the 8th floor of Platinum Business Centre, Al Nahda 2. The studio's Instagram shares choreographed pieces by its students, including two children from the hip-hop batch in October 2026, so expect to learn and polish full routines. Semi-Classical runs every Saturday at 6PM from October 2026; ask whether it is open to children. Details of a first class, what to wear, any trial class, the children's class times and fees are not published, so call or WhatsApp 055 522 3384 before you go.
