About ISD Dubai Sports City
ISD Dubai Sports City is a large sports complex in the Sports Village at Dubai Sports City, with tennis and padel courts, table tennis tables, grass and artificial football pitches and a running track. For children it runs four academies: ISD Padel Academy for ages 5 to 16, ISD ProStyle Tennis Academy, whose groups start at age 4 with at most four players a class, ISD Table Tennis Academy, and the Real Madrid Foundation Educational Football Program, which calls ISD its home base and takes children aged 3 to 17. The racket academies run in school-style terms with after-school classes, and each offers a free trial. The fee lists on the site are for the 2025-26 season, so ask for this year's. Families can also book courts, tables and pitches to play together. There is a family café on site and free parking around the complex. Padel, tennis and table tennis share the ISD Padel Building, while football has its own ISD Football Building, each with its own contact details: pick the part of the complex you want on this page. It suits a family whose children want racket sports or football, or both, in one place.
The activity
Multi-Sports, explained
A multi-sport complex lets a child try more than one game in the same place, often with a separate academy for each sport. Racket sports such as padel, tennis and table tennis build hand-eye coordination, footwork and quick decisions, and they suit children who like a one-to-one or small-group setting. Football builds fitness, teamwork and confidence with the ball. Kids' academies usually group children by age and level, train once or several times a week after school, and run in school-style terms, with a free trial first. Starting ages differ by sport and academy, so check each programme before you sign up.
Who it's for
Children and teens, plus adults. The padel academy is for kids aged 5 to 16, with beginners and advanced players in small classes. The 2025-26 tennis brochure groups children by age in classes of up to four: Red 4-6, Orange 6-8, Green 8-10 and Yellow 10+, with a competition team for selected players. Padel and table tennis group children as under 8, under 12 and under 16. The Real Madrid Foundation football programme takes children aged 3 to 17 and has an all-girls programme for ages 4 to 17.
What to expect
Each academy starts with a free trial: book it on the academy's page, or leave your details for a call-back, which the site says comes within one working day. In the 2025-26 brochures, tennis classes last 60 minutes with at most four players, and padel and table tennis classes run after school, Monday to Thursday between 4PM and 6PM, with Friday sessions between 2PM and 5PM. Football with the Real Madrid Foundation programme trains at ISD Monday to Friday between 4PM and 8PM, and its free first session is valued at AED 120. Padel, tennis and table tennis are in the ISD Padel Building; football is in the ISD Football Building. Kit lists are not on the site, so ask the academy what your child should wear and bring.
