About iGym
iGym runs gymnastics classes for children at four Dubai branches: Palm Jumeirah Mall, Triple 777 Center in Jumeirah 3, Dubai Creek Harbour and Nad Al Sheba Mall. Every branch teaches artistic gymnastics for kids. Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah 3 and Creek Harbour also list baby gymnastics for 1 to 1.5 year olds, Palm Jumeirah and Nad Al Sheba add kick boxing for kids, and Nad Al Sheba also lists jiu jitsu. iGym describes its approach as a blend of artistic gymnastics, trampoline skills, acrobatics and strength training, with safety first and special attention to every child. A trial lesson is free only with a same-day membership purchase; otherwise you send a trial application and a manager contacts you. Across all its branches, iGym says 10,000+ kids have joined, it has 100+ expert coaches and 15+ years of work behind it.
The activity
Gymnastics, explained
Gymnastics builds strength, flexibility, balance and body control through structured moves on the floor and apparatus, plus rolling, jumping and tumbling. The youngest children start with simple movement play - crawling, rolling, climbing and balancing - and move on to more formal skills as their strength and confidence grow. Artistic gymnastics is the classic track most children follow, working through skills step by step with a coach. iGym describes its own approach as a blend of artistic gymnastics, trampoline skills, acrobatics and strength training, and lists stronger muscles and bones, better coordination and flexibility, posture, balance, discipline and new friends among the benefits. At this branch, classes start from 1 year.
Who it's for
Children from 1 year. Baby gymnastics is for 1-1.5 year olds; artistic gymnastics classes are grouped by age, 1.5-3, 3-4, 5-6 and 7+. Kick boxing runs in groups for 5-7, 8-12 and 13+ at the branches that offer it. Rhythmic gymnastics, Advanced Level classes and jiu jitsu run at some branches only, so ask the branch you pick.
What to expect
Classes last 50 minutes, at hourly slots through the day, seven days a week. A trial lesson is free only with a same-day membership purchase; otherwise apply on the website and a manager will contact you. To book a class, message your branch on WhatsApp: each branch has its own number. A AED 150 registration fee applies to baby and artistic gymnastics memberships. What to wear and bring is not published, so ask the branch. Pick a branch on this page to see its address, opening hours and which programmes run there.
