About Fantasia Arts
Fantasia Arts is a dance and music school in HDS Business Centre, Cluster M, Jumeirah Lake Towers, with a dedicated kids' programme alongside its adult classes. For children it offers ballet, urban dance and contemporary dance, plus guitar and piano lessons; ballet and urban dance are listed for ages 5 to 16. The school describes ballet as a way for kids to build strong muscles, improve balance and gain confidence, and urban dance as a way to boost energy, coordination and rhythm while learning teamwork. Contemporary classes lean into storytelling and self-expression through movement, and the music lessons focus on building creativity and confidence one chord or note at a time. The same studio runs a wide adult timetable of styles, from salsa, bachata and tango to hip hop, zumba and belly dance, and also hires out studio space. It holds 4.8 on Google from 26 reviews. Prices and class times are not published online, so message the studio on +971 55 226 9255 to ask what suits your child.
The activity
Dance, explained
Dance classes for kids introduce movement, rhythm and expression through styles such as ballet, urban dance and contemporary. Children learn basic technique, coordination and musicality, and build the confidence to move in front of others. Ballet works on posture, balance and classical positions, often through storytelling and imaginative play for younger dancers. Urban and hip-hop styles are high-energy and set to upbeat music, while contemporary is freer and more expressive, blending styles to tell a story through movement. Classes are usually grouped by age and ability, so a complete beginner can join alongside children at the same stage and build up skills week by week.
Who it's for

What to expect

The school says its classes are designed to spark confidence, creativity and expression in a supportive and playful environment. Class length, group sizes, what to wear and whether a trial class is available are not published on the website, so ask the provider.
