About Ace Sports Academy

Ace Sports Academy is a Mirdif sports school for children that runs term-time groups in football, basketball, gymnastics, swimming, karate and tennis, plus a mixed martial arts (MMA) class whose ages are not published. It was founded in Dubai in 2010 by Feras Neameh, an ITF-qualified tennis coach, and started out as a tennis academy before adding other sports. Most kids' classes are held at Star International School in Mirdif; tennis runs at Uptown International School, also in Mirdif. Each sport is split into small age bands, so a five-year-old and an eight-year-old train in separate groups: Baby Gym takes children from 3, football starts with Tots Aces at 3-4, and basketball, karate and tennis have their own ladders up to the early teens. There are also selected-player basketball teams and a competition-level gymnastics group for children who want more. In the school holidays the academy runs activity, swimming, basketball and gymnastics camps. Prices are not published: the academy asks families to call or WhatsApp for fees and discounts.

The activity

Multi-Sports, explained

A multi-sport academy lets children try several sports under one roof, usually in weekly after-school groups sorted by age and level. Little ones start with ball games, balance and hand-eye coordination; older children move on to proper technique, positions, match play and fitness. Swimming, gymnastics and martial arts add body control, water confidence and discipline, while team sports such as football and basketball teach passing, communication and playing fair. Many families start with one sport and add a second once a child finds what they love. Starting ages vary by sport, from around three for baby gym and tots' ball games to seven or so for more technical classes.

Who it's for

Boys and girls from about 3 to their teens, by sport. Gymnastics (2025-26 timetable): Baby Gym 3-5, Beginners 5-6, Beginners/Intermediate 7-11, Intermediate 7-12, plus a Competition Level group. Football: Tots Aces 3-4, Mini Aces 5-6, Super Aces 7-9, Ace Aces 10-14+. Basketball (2025-26 timetable): groups for 5-7, 8-11 and 12+, plus selected-player teams chosen by the coach. Karate: Mini Tigers 7-9, Super Tigers 10-13. Swimming: a Learners level for beginners, then ten levels from Mini Swimmers (Level 1) to Ace Superior Swimmers (Level 10); ages not published. Tennis: junior groups from the early years to teens (Teen Aces). MMA runs as a Beginners/Improvers group with no ages published: ask the provider. Special-needs support is not mentioned on the site: ask the provider.

What to expect

Children join a group for their age and level during term; the academy's 2025-26 timetables show weekday sessions mostly in the late afternoon and evening, and Saturday sessions from the morning into the afternoon. Younger groups are game-based: the football Tots Aces session, for example, uses fun games in groups of 8-10 to build balance and basic ball skills, while older groups work on technique, tactics and fitness. Junior tennis classes are kept to 4-6 players. Swimming classes are booked by phone only. The site does not say whether a trial session is free or what kit to bring, so ask the provider before the first session.
