About Ora Nursery

Ora - Nursery of the Future is a nursery in the Trade Center Second area of Dubai, on the ground floor of The Boulevard at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. It takes children from three months (Babies) through Toddlers, Pre-FS and FS-1 up to FS-2 (4-5 years). Ora combines its own Zayed Early-Learning Framework (ZELF) with the British EYFS curriculum; the framework is built on four pillars: Leadership Skills, Happiness & Positivity, Advanced Sciences, and Technology & Coding. Alongside play-based early-years learning, the nursery lists programmes such as pre-coding, design thinking, 3D printing, augmented reality, STEAM and financial literacy, plus extracurriculars including Arabic, French, karate, tennis and chess x coding. Educator-to-child ratios run from 1:3 for babies under 12 months to 1:8 for 3-4 year olds, and there are two qualified nurses on site. Parents can book a tour through the website. It's rated 4.9 on Google from 39 reviews.

The activity

Nursery, explained

A nursery is a licensed early-years setting for babies and preschoolers before they start school. Days combine free play, structured circle time, outdoor play, meals and rest, built around a curriculum (often the UK's EYFS) that covers personal, social and emotional development, communication, physical skills and early literacy/numeracy. Most Dubai nurseries take children from a few months old up to age four or five, when they move into FS2 or Year 1 at a mainstream school. Settling-in visits are standard before a child starts full days.

Who it's for

Babies from 3 months up to children aged 4-5, across five stages as the site lists them: Babies (3-12 months), Toddlers (1-3 years), Pre-FS (2-3 years), FS-1 (3-4 years) and FS-2 (4-5 years). Potty training is strongly encouraged for children starting preschool but not required.

What to expect

For babies, Ora describes a 'gradual orientation process' to ease the move from home to nursery, with exercises, massage, tummy time and yoga, and baby pods designed to feel calm and warm. Parents get daily updates through a parents' app, termly parent-teacher meetings and an open-door policy for visits; there are two qualified nurses on site, CCTV throughout and private breastfeeding pods. You can book a tour on the website before enrolling. Fees, session options and the daily timetable are not published online - ask the provider.
