About MVP Lab Concept Sport
MVP LAB, listed on Google as MVP Lab Concept Sport, is a fully indoor, air-conditioned sports club on 29A Street in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3. It has three panoramic padel courts, five enclosed 5-a-side football pitches and a reformer pilates studio. For children, its MVP Padel Academy runs a Kids Padel Academy, and the academy also has programmes for beginners and advanced players. The club names its padel coaches as Xavier Masson (head coach), Samuel Martinez and Claudia Puig. Kids' classes have been sold by the term, once or twice a week, but the site still lists only the January to June 2026 terms, which have ended, and no autumn term, so ask the club for current dates and fees. Football-mad children have a second option in the same building: Urban Ball Academy, run by Urban Ball FC, which takes boys and girls from age 4 and mixes 90-minute training with weekend league games. The club also hosts sport and art-and-craft birthday parties. On Google it holds 4.7 stars from 516 reviews.
The activity
Padel, explained
Padel is a racket sport that sits somewhere between tennis and squash. It is usually played in pairs on an enclosed court smaller than a tennis court, with glass walls that the ball can bounce off after it lands. Players use a short, solid, stringless racket and serve underarm, so rallies start quickly and beginners get plenty of hits from the first lesson. For children it builds hand-eye coordination, footwork, quick decisions and teamwork with a partner. Kids' sessions typically begin with simple ball-control drills, like balancing and bouncing the ball on the racket, before moving on to rallies and small games.
Who it's for
Children in the Kids Padel Academy, which the club describes as age-appropriate coaching for young players; it does not publish an age range, levels or group sizes, so ask the provider which group suits your child. The wider MVP Padel Academy lists programmes for kids, beginners and advanced players. Urban Ball Academy (football) says children can start at age 4, that it suits both boys and girls, and that it takes players of all levels. There is no published information on support for children with additional needs.
What to expect
Kids Padel Academy classes run on the club's indoor, air-conditioned panoramic courts in Al Quoz, once or twice a week across a term. The club does not publish class length, weekly days and times, group size, whether a trial class is offered or whether children need their own racket, so ask the provider before you enrol. For court bookings, the pricing page lists racket hire at AED 30 and a can of balls at AED 40, free when you book in the MVP LAB app. The club lists changing rooms, showers and an on-site café. Urban Ball Academy offers a tryout for football.
