MOTIONGATE Dubai is the Hollywood movie theme park at Dubai Parks and Resorts on Sheikh Zayed Road, across from Palm Jebel Ali. It suits toddlers to teens, with ride access by height from 90 cm, and the resort's Park Timing calendar has it open 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Sunday to Thursday and 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Friday and Saturday through 31 October 2026. A theme park day is a full day out built around rides, shows and character meet-ups, grouped into themed zones so you can plan around each child's age. Kung Fu Panda Unstoppable Awesomeness needs 105 cm and Panem Aerial Tour 100 cm, with a companion up to 122 cm. The bigger coasters in Columbia Pictures and Lionsgate have higher minimums listed on each attraction page, so a tall 5-year-old can do more than a small 7-year-old.

Plan a full day: the park opens at 11:00 AM and every attraction closes 30 minutes before the park does, so arrive at opening to ride before the queues build. With younger kids, start in Smurfs Village and move into the indoor DreamWorks lands when the heat builds.
