Go with the Floooow: road safety cycling for children in Dubai
About Go with the Floooow
Go with the Floooow is a Dubai road safety programme that teaches children to cycle safely through play, and describes itself as the first-ever road safety training programme for children in Dubai. It is built on its own book, Rosie on the Road, in which Rosie takes children on a cycling adventure around her community and explains the different situations and hierarchy on the road. The practical half happens on four-wheeled pedal bicycles, on a track laid out with road signs and traffic cones. Mostly it comes to you: the team runs road safety awareness days in communities, and brings its van and bikes to birthday parties in public parks or gated communities, with Super Mario available as an extra. Its schools page says it plans school visits, ECA programmes and term camps, so schools should ask what is running. A March 2025 post on its site also mentions a dedicated track at The Ripe Market. The programme is run by Go With The Floooow Bicycle Rental LLC and has a 5.0 rating on Google from 4 reviews.
The activity
Cycling, explained
Road safety cycling teaches children how the road works by letting them ride it in miniature. Children pedal four-wheeled pedal bicycles, which look like small pedal karts with a seat and steering wheel, around a course set out with road signs and traffic cones, practising stopping, giving way and reading signs as they go. The programme pairs this riding practice with theory, so children talk through what signs and rules mean before putting them to use. With four wheels there is no need to balance on two, so the focus stays on road sense. Along the way children build leg strength and coordination, and learn habits they can take onto real cycle paths with their parents.
Who it's for
Children learning to ride and to understand the road. The site does not publish an age range, so ask the provider whether it suits your child. Sessions are aimed at schools, at communities holding road safety awareness days, and at parents planning a birthday party. The four-wheeled pedal bicycles mean children do not need to balance on two wheels.
What to expect
The programme mixes theory and practice: the Rosie on the Road book is its foundation, and then children ride four-wheeled pedal bicycles around a track set out with road signs and traffic cones. A March 2025 party post on the site says instructors go over helmet safety, basic road signs and riding etiquette before the riding starts, and that bikes, helmets and guidance are provided. The same post says the team brings 10+ bikes to a party at your location, and mentions parties of up to 30 riders. Session length, ages and prices are not published: email the team to ask, and check the post's details are still current.
